Settings
Settings are used to control the current Laiye Automation Worker general settings, screen recording settings, hotkey settings, Extension installation, version management, file storage, authorization information, etc.
General settings
- Startup
used to set whether the Laiye Automation Worker will automatically start when it is started.
Note: if you want to run the specified Process or Group when starting the Laiye Automation Worker client, please configure it through "Trigger > New Start Trigger".
Run setting is used to set whether the client window of the Laiye Automation Worker restores the window after running. If "Restore window after running" is checked, the display of the window will be restored automatically after each Process running; On the contrary, it remains minimized after the operation.
Exit setting is used to set whether the Laiye Automation Worker client will exit directly or minimize to the system task bar notification area when it is closed. If "no more prompt" is checked, no prompt will be given when closing; On the contrary, a prompt will pop up for confirmation each time.
- Task Record Cleanup Settings
allowing users to set an automatic cleanup range (e.g., data older than 30 days). The default setting is [Keep Permanently], and a [One-click Cleanup All] option is also available.
Recording screen
Recording screen settings are used to control whether the client Record video when running Process or Group, and how long the screen recording file is saved.
If "automatic screen recording of Process" is checked, screen recording will be performed every time the Process or Group is run; Otherwise, the screen will not be recorded.
If "permanent save" is selected, the recording screen will not be cleaned automatically; If you select "automatically clear after n days after the screen recording file is generated", please enter a number of days, and the initial value is 7 days.
matters needing attention:
At present, the screen recording files of "Attended - Node-locked License" authorization type and "Attended - Floating License" authorization type are kept in the local folder and will not be uploaded to the Laiye RPA Commander. Please pay attention to the local storage space.
The disk space is full due to long-time screen recording, which will cause the Laiye Automation Worker to flash back. Please set the saving time of the screen recording file, or manually clean the screen recording file regularly.
Lock the screen to run the Process or minimize the Clone running Process window, and the actual screen cannot be recorded normally.
Hotkey
Stop running the Process. After setting, when the Process is running, the user can stop running the Process by pressing the set hotkey.
Open the main window. After setting, when the Laiye Automation Worker is minimized or the interface is blocked by other Applications, the user can press the set hotkey to place the main window of the Laiye Automation Worker on the top level.
Extension
At present, Laiye Automation Worker provides the installation of Extensions such as Extension Manger, chrome Extension, Firefox Extension, Java Extension, Citrix Extension, Microsoft Remote Desktop Extension, new Microsoft edge Extension, 360 secure browser Extension, 360 speed browser Extension, Clone Extension and User Guide document.
The Extension Manger is used to centrally manage the installation and uninstallation of the local Extensions of the Device.
The Extensions is used to communicate with Google Chrome, Firefox, Java Applications, Citrix desktop, Microsoft Windows remote desktop, new Microsoft edge browser, 360 security browser, 360 speed browser and Clone running services, providing support for automatic operation.
The Extensions supports operations such as installation and uninstallation. For details, see the "User Guide" corresponding to the Extension. Click this button to open the directory of the operation guide file corresponding to the Extension. The Extensions guide file not only contains the installation steps, startup methods and tool usage of the Extensions, but also the steps to solve common problems in the use of the Extensions.
Chrome Extension
Chrome Extension is a browser Extension for Chrome browser automation;
If it is not installed, the Extension is displayed as "Install". Click the "Install" button to install the chrome Extension. After the installation is successful, the button will automatically switch to "uninstall". Click the button to uninstall the Extension;
The Extension has released a new version, which can be upgraded by clicking the "upgrade" button in the Extensions;

Firefox Extension
For Firefox browser automation;
If it is not installed, the Extension will be displayed as "Install". Click the "Install" button to install the Firefox Extension. After the installation is successful, the button will automatically switch to "uninstall". Click the button to uninstall the Extension;
The Extension has released a new version, which can be upgraded by clicking the "upgrade" button in the Extensions;

Java Extension
Automation plug-ins for Java based Applications;
If the Extension is not installed, it will be displayed as "Install". Click the "Install" button to install the Java Extension. After the installation is successful, the button will automatically switch to "uninstall". Click the button to uninstall the Extension;
The Extension has released a new version, which can be upgraded by clicking the "upgrade" button in the Extensions;

Matters needing attention:
Ensure that JRE (Java runtime environment) environment is installed in the system environment. If JRE is not installed, you can open the link in the browser https://www.java.com/en/download/ , Download and install.
Ensure permissions when installing Java Extension \>= Permissions during JRE installation. For example, the Current Windows login user is user. If the JRE environment is installed under this user account, the current computer login user account must be user or an account with permissions greater than user when installing Java Extension, such as administrator account.
Citrix Extension
Applicable to Laiye Automation Worker version 6.0.0 and above, and used for Citrix Applications and Citrix desktop automation;
Citrix Extensions consists of client side and server side. In short, the client side and server side of Extensions communicate based on virtual channel protocol, so as to realize the automation of Citrix Applications and Citrix desktop program;
Citrix here only includes the client side. If it is not installed, the Extension will be displayed as "Install". Click the "Install" button to install the Extension on the client side. After the installation is successful, the button will automatically switch to "uninstall". Click the button to uninstall the Extension;
The server side can automatically install Citrix Extension by installing the Extension Manger on the specified remote desktop target machine. If you want to automate the Chrome browser, Firefox browser and Java application in the remote desktop, you also need to install the corresponding Extensions through the Extension Manger;
The Extension has released a new version, which can update the corresponding version of Laiye Automation Worker and Extension Manger. Click the "upgrade" button in the Extensions to upgrade;

Microsoft Remote Desktop Extension
Applicable to Laiye Automation Worker version 6.0.0 and above, and used for Microsoft Windows remote desktop automation;
Windows remote desktop Extensions is composed of client and server. In short, the client and server of Extensions communicate based on virtual channel protocol, so as to realize the automation of windows remote desktop;
The windows remote desktop Extension here only includes the client side. If it is not installed, the Extension will be displayed as "Install". Click the "Install" button to install the Extension on the client side. After the installation is successful, the button will automatically switch to "uninstall". Click the button to uninstall the Extension;
The server side can automatically install the windows remote desktop extension by installing the Extension Manger on the specified remote desktop target machine. If you want to automate the Chrome browser, Firefox browser and Java application in the remote desktop, you also need to install the corresponding Extensions through the Extension Manger;
The Extension has released a new version, which can update the corresponding version of Laiye Automation Worker and Extension Manger. Click the "upgrade" button in the Extensions to upgrade;

New Microsoft Edge Extension
New Microsoft edge Extension is a browser Extension for new Microsoft edge browser automation;
If it is not installed, the Extension is displayed as "Install". Click the "Install" button to install the new Microsoft edge Extension. After the installation is successful, the button will automatically switch to "uninstall". Click the button to uninstall the Extension;
The Extension has released a new version, which can be upgraded by clicking the "upgrade" button in the Extensions;

360 secure browser Extension
360 secure browser Extension is a browser Extension for 360 secure browser automation;
If it is not installed, the Extension will be displayed as "Install". Click the "Install" button to install the 360 secure browser Extension. After the installation is successful, the button will automatically switch to "uninstall". Click the button to uninstall the Extension;
The Extension has released a new version, which can be upgraded by clicking the "upgrade" button in the Extensions;

360 speed browser Extension
360 speed browser Extension is a browser Extension for 360 speed browser automation;
If it is not installed, the Extension will be displayed as "Install". Click the "Install" button to install the 360 speed browser Extension. After the installation is successful, the button will automatically switch to "uninstall". Click the button to uninstall the Extension;
The Extension has released a new version, which can be upgraded by clicking the "upgrade" button in the Extensions;

Clone Extension
Automation plug-in for Clone service program;
If it is not installed, the Extension is displayed as "Install". Click the "Install" button to install the Clone Extension. After the installation is successful, the button will automatically switch to "uninstall". Click the button to uninstall the Extension;
The Extension has released a new version, which can be upgraded by clicking the "upgrade" button in the Extensions;

Local account settings
The local account setting is used to automatically complete the login operation by using the local account when Clone runs the Process. After setting, you can also edit and delete.
Version control
Version settings are used to add and manage the running versions of Process that can be used by the current Laiye Automation Worker client.
Associated function: Process \> Run version.
Add version
You can click "add" to select the installation directory of other versions of the Laiye Automation Worker, as shown in the following example.
When selecting the storage directory, please select the installation package directory of the historical version of the Laiye Automation Worker client, open the folder level as shown in the following figure, and then click "select Folder".
After selecting the folder, click "OK". After adding successfully, it is shown in the figure below.
For the self added Laiye Automation Worker version, three operation items are provided: change directory; Open the folder; Remove.
Change directory
Change directory means to open the installation directory of the Laiye Automation Worker and reselect the installation directory of the Laiye Automation Worker version.
Open folder
Open the folder to view the installation directory of the added Laiye Automation Worker version.
Remove
Remove means that the specified Laiye Automation Worker version is removed from the version list, and the files in the Laiye Automation Worker installation directory will not be deleted. After removal, the Process with this version set will revert to the default version.
File storage
File storage, including viewing, changing and opening folders of Process storage directory, log storage directory and screen recording storage directory.
You can change the storage location through "change directory" and view the file content through "open folder".
Language settings
Language settings support simplified Chinese and English.
Log Settings
with two new configuration options: [Log Level Settings] and [Log Export]. The default log level is set to [Info Log (info)]. If users need to observe more system log information to assist in debugging processes, they can switch to the [Debug Log (debug)] level. Logs related to system operations can be exported as compressed files based on date options with a one-click action, providing optimal input for process developers when consulting after-sales support.
About
About, including Laiye Automation Worker version number, official service hotline and website, as well as user agreement and copyright information.
When there is an updated version on the Laiye Automation Commander, the "version upgrade" button and prompt will be displayed. Please update as needed.
Authorization information
Attended - Node-locked License, click "Activated" on the top title bar to view it, as shown in the following figure.
Attended - Floating License, click "Connected" in the top title bar to view it, as shown in the following figure.
Minimize
If you click the "minimize" icon in the upper right corner of the Laiye Automation Worker client window, the window will be minimized.
When running the Process, the window is minimized by default.
After running the Process, the window size will be restored or minimized according to the running settings.
Maximize
If you click the "maximize" icon in the upper right corner of the Laiye Automation Worker client window, the window will be maximized.
Close
If you click the "close" icon in the upper right corner of the Laiye Automation Worker client window, the main interface window will be closed.
matters needing attention :
After closing the main interface window, you can double-click the tray icon of the Laiye Automation Worker system with the left mouse button to call out the main interface.
You can also right-click the tray icon of the Laiye Automation Worker system at the bottom and select "open main window" to call out the main interface.
If you need to exit the Laiye Automation Worker Applications, right-click the Laiye Automation Worker system tray icon and select exit Laiye Automation Worker.
If you need to completely close the process of the Laiye Automation Worker Applications, you can call out the windows Task manager through the shortcut key "Ctrl + Alt + Del", find "laiye automation" and select "end Task".
If you have logged in through authorization, your original authorized login status will be retained when you open the Laiye Automation Worker again after exiting the Laiye Automation Worker. Unless you exit the authorization login page.
